Easy Peasy Tech Integration

Well, hello there! Welcome back to the blog. So glad you stopped by.

This week, the Tech Integration team throws 3 ideas at you for easy peasy tech integration. Each of these takes just a little bit of time to figure out for you, is fairly straightforward for students, and can be used with almost any lesson.

As always, we want these tools to be easy for you. If you get stuck, send the Tech Integration team an email or schedule some time to chat.

Oh yeah, and all three of these tools work with iPad, Chromebook, and Mac.

Enjoy!!!

Padlet

Okay, Padlet, at a very basic level, is just a digital bulletin board. The difference is that you can have students add all kinds of content that they couldn’t add to a traditional board.

Sure, they can add just text notes. They can also add links, videos, recordings, and all kinds of stuff.

Padlet is easy to set up, and you can grab the link to share on Seesaw, Google Classroom, an email, or a teacher’s website.

*Note* The free version of Padlet only allows three boards but you can download, clear, and recycle those boards as often as you need.

Here’s a quick tutorial video:

Here’s an example board you can add to:

Vocaroo

Vocaroo is a simple way for students to record their voice and share their thoughts. It’s really just clicking a red record button, then saving it, copying the link, and sharing.

Listen to some Vocaroo directions:

Animate from Audio

This is just fun. It allows students to pick a character, record some audio, and create a quick little video. Instead of having students share a written poem, they can create a spoken word character. The are so many possibilities with Animate from Audio.

There you go! Three ways that you could bring a little slice of tech integration to your classroom today, tomorrow, next week, or anytime.
